We mainly undertake Transportation Mission Critical System Solutions projects that are related to the design, supply, installation, fabrication and/or maintenance of, among others, the following, depending on our customers’ needs and engagement:
(i)     automatic fare collection system at railway stations;
(ii)    electronic payment and ticketing system;
(iii)   road and tunnel toll collection system;
(iv)   traffic control and surveillance system; and
(v)    railway signaling communication and control system
We also provide other E&M engineering solutions and services, comprising:
(i)     security and access control systems;
(ii)    railway station E&M engineering services and architectural works, including services in relation to (a) air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system, (b) fire service system, (c) plumbing and drainage system and (d) electrical system;
(iv)   trackside and depot E&M engineering works
History
We are an E&M engineering solutions and services provider with a primary focus on Transportation Mission Critical System Solutions in Hong Kong with a long operating history of 40 years since 1977. We provide a full spectrum of E&M engineering solutions and services with focuses on the development, design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of public transport related systems. These include main control system, signalling control system, traffic control and surveillance system and platform screen door for public transports, automatic fare collection system and road toll collection system for public and private facilities.

KML Engineering was granted the Contractor Safety Performance Award by MTRC for the 12th time

KML Engineering was included on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works administered by the Works Branch of the Development Bureau under the following category:

KML Engineering becomes a privileged occupant of the Hong Kong Science Park, engages in research and development of innovative applications and new generation equipment related to smart mobility and financial technology, aiming at contributing to fast-growing smart cities

KML Engineering was granted the “Safety Performance Award” in the 18th Hong Kong Occupational Safety & Health Award Competition

KML Technology Group, KML Engineering and KML Technology were granted the ISO 14001:2015 certificates for their environmental management systems

KML Engineering was granted the Contractor Safety Performance Award by MTRC for the 11th time

2018

KML Technology Group was granted the Champion of Highest Percentage Saver Award (Organization) 2018 in the Power Smart Energy Saving Competition 2017-18 organized by Friends of the Earth (HK)

2017

KML Technology Group has been successfully listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“HKEX”).

KML Engineering was granted the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for its quality management system

KML Engineering was awarded the Bronze Award in the OSHC Construction Safety Promotional Campaign 2017 Competition of Best Safety Enhancement Program for Working at Height

2015

KML Engineering was registered as a Registered Minor Works Contractor under the Buildings Ordinance to carry out the following types of works:

●   Type A (Alteration and Addition Works) (Class II & III)

​●   Type C (Works relating to Signboards) (Class II & III)

2011

KML Engineering participated in the design and fabrication of AFC gates (automatic gates), token issuing machines, card vending and add value machines and cash counting handling equipment for the mas transit railway towards an international airport in Taipei, Taiwan

2007

KML Engineering was awarded the contract for the supply of relay racks to Dubai
